Abstract

La invención mejora la compresión de representación de campo de sonido HOA. La representación HOA es analizada en busca de la presencia de fuentes de sonido dominantes y se calculan sus direcciones. Después, la representación HOA es descompuesta en un número de señales direccionales dominantes y un componente residual. Este componente residual es transformado en el dominio espacial discreto a fin de obtener funciones de onda de plano generales en direcciones de muestreo uniformes, las cuales son predichas a partir de señales direccionales dominantes.
