Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con el remplazo de mezclas de agua y glicol por un diesel sintético como medio de enfriamiento, para enfriar motores en vehículos. El diesel sintético es amigable con el ambiente, útil en un amplio intervalo de temperaturas, funciona como protección contra la corrosión, y transporta calor mejor que el agua. El diesel sintético comprende alcanos no cíclicos en un porcentaje de al menos 50% de alcanos monocíclicos alquilados, no más de 1% de hidrocarburos aromáticos, y no más de 1% de alcanos di- y policíclicos.
