Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de caucho reticulado a base por lo menos un elastómero de tipo de terpolímero etileno-propileno-dieno (EPDM) y de por lo menos un material de modificación de fase (MCP), un método de preparación de esta composición y un tubo de capas múltiples que la incorpora. Esta composición comprende por lo menos 100 pce (pce: partes en peso por cien partes de elastómero(s)), por lo menos un material de modificación de fase (MCP), y que es tal que dicha por lo menos una CP (modificación de fase) está dispersa en la composición reticulada y está provista de medios de protección capaces de impedir su dispersión a una temperatura superior a su punto de fusión, dicha composición presente una resistencia a la ruptura superior a 3 MPa y/o un alargamiento a la ruptura superior a 100 %, estas propiedades que se miden a 23°C de acuerdo con la norma ASTM D 412.
