Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema inalámbrico de comunicación, y más específicamente, se describe un método y un aparato para acceder a un canal en un sistema WLAN. El método para acceder a un canal desde una estación (STA) en un sistema inalámbrico de comunicación, de acuerdo con una modalidad de la presente invención, comprende las etapas de: recibir, desde un punto de acceso (AP), un primer cuadro que contiene un elemento de mapa de indicación del tráfico (TIM) y un elemento del conjunto de parámetros de la ventana de acceso restringido (RAW); determinar una RAW en la cual se permite el acceso al canal de la STA sobre la base del elemento del conjunto de parámetros de la RAW (RPS); y transmitir un segundo cuadro a un punto de acceso (AP) dentro de la RAW que se determina, en donde, la RAW incluye al menos un intervalo; el componente de RPS incluye al menos un campo de asignación de la RAW, cada uno de los al menos un campo de asignación de la RAW incluye un campo de duración de la RAW y un campo de duración del intervalo; y en donde, el índice del intervalo el cual se asigna a la STA se determina sobre la base del identificador de asociación (AID) de la STA y el número de los intervalos en la RAW.
