Abstract
Modalidades de la presente descripción proveen métodos, aparatos, sistemas, dispositivos de cómputo, entidades de cómputo y/o los semejantes para detectar objetos ubicados en un área de interés. De acuerdo con una modalidad, se provee un método que comprende: recibir, vía una interfaz provista a través de una instancia general en un entorno de nube, datos de imágenes que comprenden imágenes sin procesar recopiladas en el área de interés; tras recibir las imágenes: activar una instancia enfocada en unidad de procesamiento central (CPU) en el entorno de nube y procesar, vía la imagen, las imágenes sin procesar para generar un mapa de imagen del área de interés y después de generar el mapa de imagen: activar una instancia enfocada en unidad de procesamiento gráfico (GPU) en el entorno de nube y efectuar detección de objetos, vía la imagen, en una región dentro del mapa de imagen mediante aplicación de uno o más algoritmos de detección de objetos a la región para identificar ubicaciones de los objetos en la región.
