La presente invención comprende un dispositivo de procesamiento de cables (100, 200, 300, 800) que comprende un primer dispositivo receptor (101, 201-1, 301-1, 801-1) adaptado para recibir y fijar un primer extremo de cable (191, 291-1, 291-2, 391-1, 391-2, 491, 591, 691, 891-1, 891-2, 991) de un cable (190) en una posición predeterminada, un dispositivo de registro de imágenes (102, 202, 302-1, 302-2, 802-1, 802-2) el cual está diseñado para capturar al menos una imagen (103, 203, 303-1, 303-2, 803-1, 803-2) del primer extremo de cable (191, 291-1, 291-2, 391-1, 391-2, 491, 591, 691, 891-1, 891-2, 991), y un dispositivo de evaluación (104, 204, 304, 804) el cual está diseñado para aplicar un algoritmo entrenado (105, 205, 305, 805) a la al menos una imagen (103, 203, 303-1, 303-2, 803-1, 803-2), y generar y emitir una señal de control (106, 206, 306, 806) con base en al menos un resultado generado por el algoritmo entrenado (105, 205, 305, 805), en donde el algoritmo entrenado (105, 205, 305, 805) está adaptado para identificar una característica predeterminada (196, 496) en la al menos una imagen (103, 203, 303-1, 303-2, 803-1, 803-2), respectivamente, y generar un resultado positivo si la característica predeterminada (196, 496) es identificable en la imagen (103, 203, 303-1, 303-2, 803-1, 803-2).
