Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere en general a procesos para recuperar el tricianohexano (TCH) mediante la purificación de corrientes de subproductos o coproductos de la producción de adiponitrilo. En particular, la presente divulgación se refiere a un proceso para purificar tricianohexano (TCH), el proceso tiene las etapas de (a) separar una corriente de proceso de adiponitrilo que comprende adiponitrilo y TCH para formar una primera corriente de componentes ligeros de cabeza que comprende componentes de bajo punto de ebullición y componentes de alto punto de ebullición y una primera corriente de componentes pesados de fondos que comprende componentes de alto punto de ebullición e impurezas sólidas; y (b) separar la primera corriente de componentes ligeros de cabeza en una columna de destilación para formar una segunda corriente de componentes ligeros de cabeza que comprende componentes de bajo punto de ebullición, una segunda corriente de componentes pesados de fondos que comprende componentes de alto punto de ebullición, y una corriente de TCH que comprende TCH y menos de 10% en peso de impurezas; en donde la columna de destilación es una columna de destilación de baja presión.
