Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a construcciones de iARN para reducir la expresión del gen LPA, que codifica la apolipoproteína(a), un componente de partículas de lipoproteína(a) (Lp(a)). También se describen métodos de uso de dichas construcciones de iARN para tratar o prevenir enfermedades cardiovasculares, tales como arteriopatía coronaria, arteriopatía periférica, ictus e infarto de miocardio, y para reducir los niveles de Lp(a) en suero.
