Abstract
Un método de ejemplo para tratamiento de estimulación de la médula espinal incluye posicionar ocho electrodos implantables a una duramadre en un espacio epidural próximo a una médula espinal del sujeto de modo que (i) un primer circuito se crea entre un primero y un segundo electrodo en un primer canal, (ii) un segundo circuito se crea entre un tercero y cuarto electrodo en un segundo canal, (iii) un tercer circuito se crea entre un quinto y sexto electrodo en un tercer canal y (iv) un cuarto circuito se crea entre un séptimo y octavo electrodo en un cuarto canal, transmitir señales a través del primero y segundo circuitos que interfieren para producir una primera señal de pulsación, transmitir señales a través del tercero y cuarto circuitos que interfieren para producir una segunda señal de pulsación, y la interacción de la primera y segunda señales de pulsación da por resultado una señal de pulsación combinada próxima a y/o dentro de la médula espinal del sujeto.
