Abstract

Se proporciona una composición de polímero para revestir poliestireno expandido (EPS), la composición de polímero incluye una mezcla de al menos uno de poliurea, poliuretano, elastómero de silicio y combinación de los mismos en una relación predefinida. La composición de polímero imparte propiedades deseadas tal como alta resistencia a impacto y a abrasión, resistencia a alargamiento y propiedad antiestática junto con resistencia a flexión al EPS. La presente invención también proporciona el proceso para revestir la composición de polímero en el EPS. El proceso de revestimiento de matriz proporciona unión mucho más fuerte debido a la superposición del revestimiento de la composición de polímero en los lados del EPS y reduce el desperdicio de la composición de polímero durante el revestimiento del EPS. La presenten invención también proporciona el revestimiento de EPS con la composición de polímero. El EPS revestido con la composición de polímero posee las propiedades tal como alta resistencia a impacto, resistencia a abrasión, resistencia a alargamiento, resistencia a flexión y propiedad antiestática.
