Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método y aparato de codificación/decodificación. Un método de decodificación de imagen de conformidad con la presente descripción es realizado por un aparato de ecodificación de imagen. El método de decodificación de imagen comprende derivar una primera bandera que especifica sí se realiza predicción ponderada en un bloque actual y un índice de peso BcwIdx de bi-predicción con peso al nivel de CU (BCW) para el bloque actual, determinar sí se realiza predicción ponderada por omisión o predicción ponderada explícita sobre el bloque actual basado en la primer bandera y el BcwIdx, y generar un bloque de predicción para el bloque actual realizando el método determinado.
