Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a sistemas y métodos de secado térmico ambientalmente limpios. De conformidad con una modalidad de la invención, un método de secado térmico incluye recibir un desperdicio relacionado con la grasa, quemar el desperdicio relacionado con la grasa en un horno para generar energía térmica, recibir un biorresiduo en un secador indirecto a una velocidad de alimentación ajustable, secar el biorresiduos en el secador indirecto utilizando al menos parte de la energía térmica y dosificar los biorresiduos en el secador indirecto a la velocidad de alimentación ajustable. La tasa de alimentación ajustable se ajusta en base a un porcentaje de sólidos de los biorresiduos antes de ingresar al secador indirecto y una temperatura dentro del secador indirecto, donde el secador indirecto y la tasa de alimentación ajustable se coordinan para lograr un porcentaje predeterminado de sólidos en biorresiduos secos que salen del secador indirecto.
