Abstract
The present invention relates to a graft or construct, including chondrocytes isolated from the cartilage of young donors (<20 years), seeded on a three-dimensional membrane. It consists of one of the main chondrogenesis-promoting substances (hyaluronic acid) in high densities (1x106) with autologous serum, sealed with fibrin glue, healing a cartilage injury, forming tissue of higher durability, lowering costs and risks. Also, it relates to a process for treating articular cartilage injuries by implanting allogeneic chondrocyte grafts, thus generating and repairing the cartilage of the injury.
