Abstract

Un método para controlar el ancho de bits para el flujo óptico bidireccional (BDOF) para la codificación de video incluye decodificar una primera imagen de referencia y una segunda imagen de referencia, la segunda imagen de referencia es diferente a la primera imagen de referencia, en donde la primera imagen de referencia se visualiza antes de una imagen actual y la segunda imagen de referencia se visualiza después de la imagen actual. Un refinamiento de movimiento de una unidad de codificación (CU) se calcula al minimizar una diferencia entre la primera predicción L0 y la segunda predicción L1. Se calculan los primeros valores de gradiente para la primera predicción L0 y segundos valores de gradiente para la segunda predicción L1. Se calcula una bi-predicción final de la CU. También se da a conocer un aparato asociado y un medio de almacenamiento no transitorio y legible por computadora asociado.
