Un acero laminado en caliente que tiene una composición que comprende los siguientes elementos: 0.01 % =Carbono=0.1 %, 0.2 % =Manganeso=2 %, 0.2 % =Silicio=1.5 %, 0.01 %=Aluminio=2 %, 0.1 %=Estaño=1 %, 0.1 %=Cobre=0.5 %, 0.001 %=Niobio=0.1 %, 0.002 %=Fósforo=0.02 %, 0 %=Azufre=0.005 %, 0 %=Nitrógeno=0.01 %, con 0.3 % = Sn+Cu = 1.2 % y puede contener uno o más de los siguientes elementos opcionales 0 %=Titanio=0.1 %, 0 %= Vanadio=0.1 %, 0 %=Cromo=1 %,0 %=Molibdeno=0.5 %, 0 %=Calcio=0.01 %, 0 %=Boro=0.01 %, 0 %=Magnesio=0.05 %, 0 %=Calcio=0.01 %, 0 %=Cerio=0.1 %, 0 %=Boro=0.05 %, 0 %=Níquel=0.01%, la composición restante está compuesta de hierro e impurezas inevitables causadas por el procesamiento, la microestructura de dicha hoja de acero comprende en fracción de área, 75 % a 95 % de ferrita, 1 % a 15 % perlita y, opcionalmente, bainita está entre 0 % y 25 %, en donde el tamaño de grano promedio de todos los constituyentes microestructurales es menor a 15 micras.
