Abstract
Una composición de polietileno comprende un primer polietileno el cual es un copolímero de etileno que tiene un peso molecular promedio en peso desde 70,000 hasta 250,000 y una distribución de peso molecular Mw/Mn de < 2.3, un segundo polietileno el cual es un copolímero u homopolímero de etileno que tiene un peso molecular promedio en peso de menos de 75,000 y una distribución de peso molecular Mw/Mn de < 2.3, y un tercer polietileno el cual es un copolímero u homopolímero de etileno que tiene un peso molecular promedio en peso desde 100,000 hasta 300,000 y una distribución de peso molecular Mw/Mn de > 2.3, en donde el primer polietileno tiene más ramificaciones de cadena corta que el segundo polietileno o el tercer polietileno. La composición de polietileno tiene una fracción soluble en un análisis de CEF de por lo menos un 15 por ciento en peso. La película producida a partir de la composición de polietileno puede tener un módulo secante al 1% en dirección de la máquina de = 200 MPa (en un espesor de película de aproximadamente 25.4 µm (1 mil)) y una tasa de transmisión de oxígeno (OTR) de = 700 cm3 por 645.16 cm2 (100 pulgadas2) (en una película de espesor de aproximadamente 25.4 µm (1 mil)). La película producida a partir de la composición de polietileno retiene gran parte de su desempeño de impacto de dardo en la reducción de espesor desde un espesor de 25.4 µm (1 mil) hasta un espesor de 19.05 µm (0.75 mil).
