Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo compacto de cogeneración de calor y electricidad compuesto por: a) un sistema de generación de calor conectado a un generador de vapor, un condensador y un fluido de trabajo interno, en donde el vapor se obtiene por combustión externa de un combustible adecuado en una caldera y/o por conducción de gases calientes externos a una caldera; y b) un sistema generador de electricidad compuesto por: i) una o más turbinas radiales y/o axiales; ii) un generador de flujo axial eléctrico; y iii) un inversor de control electrónico. El combustible puede ser sólido, líquido o gaseoso. Tanto la turbina como el generador eléctrico tienen cojinetes magnéticos pasivos y cojinetes electrodinámicos. El equipo no usa sellos mecánicos ya que todas las partes móviles están alojadas dentro del fluido de trabajo, la contención de presión del fluido de trabajo.
