Abstract
En el presente documento se describen polímeros hidrofóbicos que contienen vinilamina útiles como aditivos de rendimiento de f abdicación de papel para mejorar la suavidad de papel con poco o ningún efecto negativo sobre las propiedades de resistencia del papel seco. Los polímeros hidrofóbicos que contienen vinilamina se producen mediante la incorporación de propiedad funcional hidrofóbica en porción de amina primaria de los polímeros que contienen vinilamina a través de reacciones con grupos hidrofóbicos reactivos. Los polímeros que contienen vinilamina hidrofóbicamente modificados se pueden utilizar además como polímeros de base para la polimerización con un monóptero de vinilo por polimerización iniciada por radicales libres. Las composiciones de los polímeros hidrofóbicos que contienen vinilamina han mostrado una suavidad mejorada, coeficiente de fricción reducida para productos de papel, mientras que las propiedades de resistencia en seco mantenidas o mejoradas de los productos de papel.
