Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para ensamblar un producto o porción de un producto (10), en un sitio de ensamblaje (SA), que comprende una línea de ensamblaje (LA), en donde la línea de ensamblaje comprende una pluralidad de estaciones de ensamblaje (S1, S2, S3, etc.) y al menos una plataforma móvil (PMA, PMB, etc.), el método comprende los siguientes pasos aplicados a cada plataforma móvil de la por lo menos una plataforma móvil (PMA, PMB, etc.): h) cargar en la plataforma móvil (PMA, PMB, etc.) una pluralidad de objetos, que comprenden una o más partes elementales (P1A, P2A, P3A, P4, P5, P6, etc.) y/o uno o más ensambles parciales (AP1, AP2, ... APi) que constituyen el producto que será ensamblado o una porción del producto que será ensamblado en la línea de ensamblaje (LA); i) mover la plataforma móvil (PMA, PMB, etc.) a una estación de ensamblaje de la pluralidad de estaciones de ensamblaje (S1 S2, S3, etc.) de la línea de ensamblaje (LA); j) transferir a la estación de ensamblaje uno o más objetos de la pluralidad de objetos presentes en la plataforma móvil (PMA, PMB, etc.); k) modificar o ensamblar el uno o más objetos transferidos en el paso c), para de esta manera constituir un objeto intermedio; I) transferir a la plataforma móvil (PMA, PMB, etc.) el objeto intermedio constituido en el paso anterior, de modo que, para los pasos posteriores del método, el objeto o dicha pluralidad de objetos transferidos en el paso c) sean reemplazados en la pluralidad de objetos con el objeto intermedio constituido en el paso d); m) repetir los pasos b) a e) para que la plataforma se mueva consecutivamente desde una estación de ensamblaje, en la cual se constituya un objeto intermedio, hasta otra estación, en la cual se constituya otro objeto intermedio.
