Un aparato de fundicion para la produccion de acero, que comprende una estructura de soporte (11) para soportar una carcasa (13) para la produccion y colada de acero (A), y una fuente o zona (17, 28) para la emision de humos (F) resultantes de la colada del acero (A) desde la carcasa (13); el aparato de fundicion comprende una campana de extraccion (16) integrada en la estructura de soporte (11) y provista de una boca de aspiracion (31) situada directamente encima de la zona (17, 28) para la emision de humos (F), la carcasa (13) esta provista de una pared inferior (33) en la que se proporciona una EBT (17) para la colada del acero.
