Abstract

La presente invención describe compuestos de la Fórmula (I), o sales, ésteres, estereoisómeros, tautómeros, solvatos, hidratos, o sus combinaciones aceptables farmacéuticamente: (ver formula) que inhiben la quinasa 1 reguladora de la señal de apoptosis (ASK-1), que se asocia con trastornos autoinmunitarios, trastornos neurodegenerativos, enfermedades inflamatorias, enfermedad renal crónica, enfermedad cardiovascular. La presente invención se relaciona, además, con las composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden los compuestos antes mencionados para la administración a un sujeto que padece de una enfermedad relacionada con ASK-1. La invención se relaciona, además, con métodos para tratar una enfermedad relacionada con ASK-1 en un sujeto mediante la administración de una composición farmacéutica que comprende los compuestos de la presente invención. La presente invención se refiere específicamente a métodos de tratamiento de ASK-1 asociados con esteatosis hepática, que incluye enfermedad de hígado graso no alcohólico (NAFLD) y enfermedad de esteatohepatitis no alcohólica (NASH).
