Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un proceso para producir un petróleo renovable mejorado a partir de materiales carbonáceos renovable, que comprende proporcionar un petróleo crudo renovable que contiene oxígeno, bajo en azufre que tiene un contenido en azufre menor de 0.5% en peso y contenido de oxígeno de aproximadamente 2.0 hasta aproximadamente 20% en peso, presurizar el aceite crudo renovable que contiene oxígeno, bajo en azufre a una presión de operación en el intervalo de 20 a 200 bares, agregar y mezclar hidrógeno al petróleo crudo que contiene oxígeno bajo en azufre, presurizado, calentar el petróleo a una temperatura de operación en el intervalo de 180-410°C en uno o más pasos, poner en contacto petróleo con al menos un catalizador heterogéneo contenido en una primera zona de reacción, poner en contacto el efluente de la primera zona de reacción con al menos un catalizador heterogéneo contenido en una segunda zona de reacción, donde al menos uno de los catalizadores heterogéneos en la primera zona de reacción/la segunda zona de reacción es una forma no sulfurada.
