Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un polímero catiónico que se obtiene mediante la polimerización de al menos un monómero catiónico, al menos un agente reticulante y opcionalmente monómeros adicionales, tales como monómeros no iónicos, monómeros asociativos y/o agentes de transferencia de cadena. El polímero catiónico tiene una distribución de pesos moleculares al menos bimodal con al menos un primer pico (P1) y al menos un segundo pico (P2), en donde el primer pico tiene un coeficiente de sedimentación promedio más bien menor de = 10 Sved y el segundo pico tiene un coeficiente de sedimentación promedio más bien mayor de = 10,000 Sved. Los componentes de pólimero solubles en agua de polímero catiónico se relacionan un = 25% en peso con la cantidad total de polímero catiónico. La presente invención además se relaciona con un proceso para obtener tal polímero catiónico además de una dispersión inversa, un espesante o un adyuvante de deposición, que comprende al menos uno de tales polímeros catiónicos.
