Abstract
La presente tecnología se refiere a un aparto de recepción y a un método de procesamiento de datos que permiten el procesamiento eficiente de la información de tiempo. Un aparato de recepción recibe una señal de difusión digital basada en un esquema de transporte IP, adquiere la información de tiempo desde una trama o cuadro de capa física transportada en una capa física de una pila de protocolos para el esquema de transporte de IP, convierte la información de tiempo adquirida en el mismo formato de datos que lo datos proporcionados en una carga útil del cuadro de capa física; y emite o da salida a la información de tiempo convertida a una sección de procesamiento que lleva a cabo un proceso dado relacionado con una capa superior que es una capa superior o alta que la capa física. La presente tecnología es aplicable, por ejemplo, a un receptor de televisión que soporta un esquema de transporte IP.
