Abstract

La presente invención se dirige a un sistema y método para proporcionar direcciones de navegación a un usuario para ubicar un objeto anatómico objetivo durante un procedimiento médico, mediante un sistema de obtención de imágenes médicas. El método incluye la selección de una región anatómica que rodea el objeto; la generación de una pluralidad de imágenes bidimensionales en tiempo real de escenas de la región anatómica y la provisión de la pluralidad de imágenes a un controlador; el desarrollo y entrenamiento de una red de aprendizaje profundo para detectar e identificar automáticamente las escenas de la región anatómica; el mapeo automático de cada una de la pluralidad de imágenes de la región anatómica con base en una ubicación espacial relativa y una ubicación temporal relativa de cada una de las escenas identificadas en la región anatómica mediante la red de aprendizaje profundo; y la provisión de direcciones al usuario para ubicar el objeto durante el procedimiento médico con base en las ubicaciones espacial y temporal relativas de cada una de las escenas identificadas.
