Abstract

Se revela un método para determinar el estado de uno o más tanques en un sitio particular o una cantidad de una mercancía almacenada en un sitio particular, que comprende las etapas de: almacenar información asociada con cada uno de los uno o más tanques en una base de datos; levar a cabo periódicamente una inspección de cada uno de los uno o más tanques, que incluye usar un sensor para adquirir un conjunto de datos tridimensional; analizar el conjunto de datos tridimensional para determinar el estado de cada uno de los uno o más tanques y/o calcular la cantidad de la mercancía que se almacena en uno o más tanques y comunicar información acerca del estado de cada uno de los uno o más tanques y/o la cantidad de la mercancía que se almacena en uno o más tanques en el sitio particular a un participante del mercado.
