Abstract
This invention discloses methods for preparing graphene nano-platelet solid materials using high-shear mixing treatments of graphite suspensions in various solvents. The invention additionally describes methods for manufacturing graphene nano-platelets doped with nanoparticles of transition metals or oxides of same using said materials as raw materials; it also describes a general methodology for producing the graphene nanocomposites with nanoparticles of transition metals or the oxides thereof in which these are prepared directly from graphite.
