Abstract

La presente descripción proporciona un polímero de poli (vinilcaprolactama) obtenido mediante la polimerización de un compuesto de vinilactama en un sistema de solventes para polimerización que comprende un carbonato de alquileno y/o un lactato de alquilo y un iniciador de polimerización. El polímero de poli (vinilcaprolactama), en combinación con el sistema de solventes para polimerización, se puede utilizar como un inhibidor cinético de hidrato de gas para prevenir o inhibir la formación de gas natural y/o hidratos de hidrocarburos líquidos en un sistema.
