Abstract
Una gestión mejorada de una red de transmisión de potencia eléctrica se obtiene al proveer en cada una de las premisas del suscriptor un dispositivo de control de carga que incluye un sistema de corrección de potencia para aplicar una carga capacitiva y/o un reactor conmutado para la corrección de voltaje a través de el voltaje de entrada y un sistema de detección definido por un par de medidores, uno en el suministro y el segundo corriente abajo de la corrección de voltaje para detectar variaciones en el factor de potencia. Un sistema de control funciona para controlar el sistema de corrección de potencia en respuesta a las variaciones detectadas por el sistema de detección y para comunicarse entre el dispositivo de control de carga y el sistema de control de la red a fin de proporcionar un sistema interactivo bidireccional.
