Abstract

Se proporcionan un método de codificación de audio y un aparato. El método incluye: determinar la dispersión de distribución, en espectros, de energía de N cuadros de audio de entrada (101), en donde los N cuadros de audio incluyen un cuadro de audio actual, y N es un número entero positivo; y determinar de acuerdo a la dispersión de distribución, en los espectros, de la energía de los N cuadros de audio, si se usa un primer método de codificación o un segundo método de codificación para codificar el cuadro de audio actual (102), donde el primer método de codificación es un método de codificación que se basa en la cuantificación del coeficiente de transformada y la transformada de tiempo-frecuencia y que no se basa en la predicción lineal, y el segundo método de codificación es un método de codificación basado en predicción lineal. De acuerdo al método, cuando se codifica un cuadro de audio, se considera la dispersión de distribución, en un espectro, de la energía del cuadro de audio, lo que puede reducir la complejidad de codificación y asegurar que la codificación sea de relativamente alta exactitud.
