Abstract
Procedimiento de tratamiento de agua por filtración sobre un lecho de material granular con el fin de reducir su contenido en contaminantes, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento las etapas de: hacer que dicha agua discurra en tránsito en un reactor que contiene dicho lecho en un flujo hacia arriba a una velocidad que no permita la fluidización de dicho lecho, pero permita migrar a dicho material, mientras que la filtración tiene lugar, hacia la parte inferior de dicho reactor, retirar de manera continua un material granular sucio en el pie del reactor, por medio de una tubería en la que se insufla un gas, estando dicho material granular sucio constituido por material granular y contaminantes adsorbidos sobre dicho material granular; llevar a cabo continua o intermitentemente la limpieza física de dicho material granular sucio así retirado, tal como para obtener un material granular limpiado esencialmente liberado de dichos contaminantes; reinyectar el material granular así limpiado dentro de una parte superior de dicho lecho; caracterizado porque el material granular es un material adsorbente granular y porque comprende: una etapa continua o intermitente de descarga, durante la filtración, de una parte del material granular sucio retirado en el pie del reactor; y una etapa continua o intermitente de introducción dentro del reactor, durante la filtración, de material granular de nueva aportación en una cantidad suficiente para compensar la parte de material granular descargado.
