Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of electronics, and specifically concerns a smart fountain pen having two basic functionalities. The first functionality is that it allows any type of two- or three dimensional stroke to be produced, such as drawings, signatures, texts, etc., without needing to use a pen or paper or to use them in real time. The strokes produced do not require a specific support surface or a limited inclination, position or orientation. The second functionality of the smart fountain pen is that it allows commands from specific-use programs to be sent and received to execute processes. The smart fountain pen is characterised in that it does not require any type of support surface, although it can also perform tasks if there is a support surface. The strokes and commands can be sent and received without the pen needing to be supported on any specific type of surface, and the pen is not limited to use in any particular orientation, inclination or position. This feature does not prevent the pen from being used as a conventional electronic pen.
