Abstract

Se describe una composición de catalizador para inhibir la desactivación de un catalizador para purificar gas de escape de un sistema de combustión de gas natural comprimido, que contiene platino y paladio como componentes de metal precioso. Específicamente, un catalizador para purificar gas de escape de un vehículo de gas natural comprimido o un sistema de combustión estático se configura de modo que un sustrato de cerámica se impregna con la primera alúmina impregnada con paladio, la segunda alúmina impregnada con platino, y un componente de cerio, en donde la primera alúmina se impregna adicionalmente con un cocatalizador seleccionado a partir del grupo que consiste de bario, níquel, lantano, samario, e itrio, de este modo inhibe significativamente la desactivación del catalizador de motor de mezcla pobre de CNG.
