Abstract

Un método para distribuir licencias multimedia (LIR, LIS) por medio de un servidor a una pluralidad de dispositivos de usuario en un sistema de distribución de un servicio multimedia, cuyo acceso se encuentra protegido por una primera protección (KT1). Comprendiendo este método: - verificar que los recursos de cómputo utilizados por el servidor no excedan un umbral máximo, si es así, generar y después transmitir licencias regulares (LIR) que incluyen dicha primera protección (KT1) en respuesta a las solicitudes del dispositivo de usuario, de otra manera conmutar el servidor (10) a un modo único de distribución (SM) destinado a: - proteger el acceso al servicio multimedia utilizando una segunda protección (KT2), independiente de la primera protección (KT1), - generar y transmitir a los dispositivos una licencia simple (LIS) que comprende la segunda protección (KT2), - verificar que los recursos de cómputo no excedan el umbral máximo, si es así, conmutar del modo único a un modo regular, a fin de proteger el acceso al contenido multimedia utilizando solamente dicha primera protección (KT1).
