Abstract
Se describen sistemas, dispositivos, y métodos para evaluar el riesgo de capacidades o discapacidades de desarrollo, cognitivas, sociales, o mentales en pacientes muy jóvenes (por ejemplo en los primeros 2-6 meses de vida). Generalmente, la disminución en la fijación visual de un sujeto durante el tiempo con respecto a ciertos estímulos dinámicos proporciona un marcador de posibles capacidades o discapacidades (tales como ASD). La fijación visual del sujeto es identificada, monitoreada, y rastreada durante el tiempo a través de sesiones de rastreo ocular repetidas, y los datos relacionados con la fijación visual son entonces analizados para determinar ciertas condiciones de posible riesgo aumentado en el sujeto. Un cambio en la fijación visual en comparación con datos de fijación visual similares de sujetos que se desarrollan de manera típica o con datos de fijación visual previos del mismo sujeto proporciona una indicación de una capacidad o discapacidad de desarrollo, cognitiva, o mental.
