Abstract

Un sistema de exploración utiliza datos gradiométricos para determinar la dirección y la distancia entre un primer y un segundo pozo sin ningún conocimiento o implicación de las características de la formación o el hueco para intersecar y/o evadir el segundo pozo. En general, esto se logra mediante el despliegue de un montaje en el interior del pozo que comprende transmisores y receptores que tienen dipolos magnéticos, junto con receptores inversos ubicados entre los transmisores y los receptores.
