Abstract
Un polvo de esmalte para fabricar un recubrimiento, el cual tiene una alta capacidad de carga mecánica y térmica y al mismo tiempo puede ser maquinado bien, de acuerdo a la presente invención está presente como una mezcla la cual contiene 100 partes de un polvo de vidrio, opcionalmente 10 - 22 partes de granulados de vidrio grueso los cuales son mayores que las partículas de polvo de vidrio, 0.1 - 7.5 partes de fibras cerámicas, fibras de vidrio o fibras de carbono, y alternativamente uno con respecto a otro o en combinación entre sí 10 - 21 partes de un compuesto oxídico en polvo de un metal ligero o 1 - 5 partes de un polvo de un metal pesado. Un componente metálico, el cual es proporcionado con un recubrimiento producido a partir de polvo de esmalte de acuerdo con la invención, soporta de manera confiable un flujo de gas caliente contra éste. Por lo tanto, el recubrimiento de acuerdo con la invención es particularmente adecuado para recubrir partes para máquinas de combustión interna las cuales son expuestas a un flujo de gas de escape. Además, la invención especifica un método, por medio del cual dichos componentes metálicos pueden ser proporcionados con un recubrimiento de esmalte.
