  • Sanitary Device For Flush Toilet (AREA)

Abstract

The present invention is related to the sanitary elements; more particularly it refers to a toilet of low-water consumption for removing sanitary wastes, which mainly consists in a mobile gate installed in the area where a syphon is commonly arranged in a toilet. This invention replaces the traditional syphon currently used in toilets by a mobile sliding gate (1) that saves many liters of water per discharge, also having a level regulator (6) for controlling the consumption of water in a manual form and according to the requirements of the user. Additionally, the invention has, for effects of delaying the sealing of the gate (1), a tensor element (7) allowing a tube to be filled with water (10) with a plunger (11) in the inner portion thereof for cleaning the oblique conduct section (3) where said gate is sealed (1). The system of lower water consumption for discharging the toilet is operated as follows: the gate (1) is displaced upon actuating the discharge lever by means of a cable (8), allowing the bowl to be emptied and the plunger (10) inserted into the tube (10) to be pulled in a simultaneous manner so as to be filled with water; the gate (1) subsequently returning to its original position and dispensing the water contained in said tube (10) by the action of the plunger (11), both elements being pressed by the tensor element (7), thus sealing the flow of water in a perpendicular manner with regard to the oblique conduct (3), therefore allowing the wastes to be perfectly removed. The implementation of this system allows a large amount of water to be saved, upon reducing the volume of this liquid used in the toilet discharge, from about 6 to 12 liters of water being currently used for removing solid wastes, the inventive system using 1 to 1 1/2 liters with the same effectiveness than current toilets using 6-12 liters of water.

Description

i LOW WATER CONSUMPTION TOILET TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to the sanitary elements, more particularly said invention consists of a toilet with low water consumption, but more specifically consists of a toilet with system that allows to reduce the amount of water required for waste disposal consisting of fundamentally in the modification of the discharge system by means of a mobile gate installed in toilets for sanitary use. Said movable sliding gate also has the advantage of allowing the consumption by discharge to be regulated manually, as required by the user.
BACKGROUND The toilets, also called, cups, toilets or toilets, have been used for decades and even today, they have a siphon (tube in the shape of an "S") in the lower part corresponding to the drainage of the excrement with the object to avoid the escape of gases and bad smells coming from the drainage, as well as to have the height of the water level always equal to the moment of its use. This siphon is required for any toilet, with the exception of those used in mobile toilets or vehicles such as buses, trains or aircraft, in which, by saving space and water, they directly vent or sanitize the waste with chemical substances.
The use of siphons involves the consumption of a considerable amount of water for the discharge, since several liters are required to overcome the resistance of the liquid that is already in the ascending part of the "S" of the siphon.
Due to the amount of wasted water, there are several inventions related to the modification or implementation of different mechanisms or configuration in order to avoid such waste. There are commercially some toilets with systems aided with pressure, or in which the design of the "S" corresponding to the siphon has been modified in order to reduce the water consumption, as well as the toilets that use a double discharge system, noting that for saving purposes, discharges have been reduced, in the most extreme case, to 5 liters per solid discharge and 3 liters to discharge liquids. However, the present invention allows a much greater saving of water, having a minimum expense regardless of the type of discharge that is had, whether solid or liquid.
On the other hand, there are other documents that present toilets with systems with a mobile siphon. FR1994000102 describes said system with a gate rotates towards the part of the relief, which has a horizontal position, unlike the present invention, which has the sliding gate upwards and whose wall of the relief conduit is diagonal and direct by gravity towards drain. Another document is the 54315 of Mexico, and it is notably different from our system because it has an upward curve of the siphon, and does not have a direct diagonal to the drain.
There are other types of modifications such as the one presented in the document CN20062167941 U 20061213, where the relief has a suction device, being unlike our invention a more complex mechanism.
The low water consumption toilet, object of the present invention, avoids the unnecessary waste of water to push the waste upwards in the "S" of the siphon. Due to the modification of the drainage and elimination of the siphon making said direct drain diagonally and allow its relief by gravity by means of a sliding gate placed in a compartment positioned perpendicular to said diagonal drain. Said gate completely seals the passage of water from the diagonal of the drain, in this way, the water level rises and fills both the bowl and a minimum section of said perpendicular tube limited by said gate, thus fulfilling the function of a siphon at no allow the passage of unpleasant odors and to always maintain the same level of water at rest.
The flushing mechanism of the toilet works in the following way: the gate is moved allowing the drainage to be released and returning to its original position, sealing the passage of the water, giving space for the perfect drainage of the waste.
With the present invention it is intended to achieve a considerable water saving with the decrease of the water from the flushing of toilets, allowing a decrease in domestic water consumption of approximately 30-40%, with a novel drainage system that complies with The function of the siphon and is totally effective.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION.
The present invention relates to a low water consumption toilet that has a mechanism created specifically to be implemented in the place that is commonly known as a siphon in the toilet bowls that are used to dispose of excrement.
Next, said invention is described which is not limiting of the legal scope that is collected.
The present invention consists of a toilet with low water consumption system, which according to the figures previously described, the low water consumption toilet consists of: a sliding mobile gate (1) that opens and closes the water passage coming from the waste reception area for its relief; which has at one end a level regulator (6) which is a movable part that regulates the level of water contained in the cup as required by the user; said gate (1) is inside a conduit, which has at least two protuberances (2) that allow its sliding, positioning the gate (1) perpendicularly to an oblique conduit (3) of the drainage of waste, which has the exit with a curve that allows the direct exit towards the drainage; to hold and push said gate (1) has a flexible fastener (4) which has wheels (4 ') at its ends, thus also allowing the sliding and securing of the gate (1) by pressing it towards the protuberances ( 2); said fastener (4) is in turn fixed in one of the conduits by a fastening means (5) which in turn holds a tensioning element (7); at its other end, said tension element (7) holds and allows the movement and tension of the gate (1) and of a piston (11), in this way allowing the return movement of both after the discharge for the emptying of! toilet; said unloading action is carried out with a lever that has a cable attached (8), which at the moment of actuation said lever pulls and allows the sliding of the gate (1) for the discharge of the toilet and, simultaneously, to pull the plunger ( 11) that is inserted in a tube (10) and in this way fill it with water; said tube (10) has two openings at one of its ends; an opening of smaller diameter with a valve (14), which contains a small pellet that allows the water to flow out slowly when the plunger (11) is pressed, said valve (14) connects with a hose (13) that directs said water towards the oblique duct (3); the other opening with a larger diameter with a uniform valve (12) which is connected to a conduit (9) that allows water to be drawn from the water supply to said pipe (10) and filled when the cable (8) is pulled.
The low water consumption system has four sections that basically consist of: a slideable sliding gate (1), which acts as a seal in the entire area corresponding to what would be the upward curve of a conventional siphon, this gate (1) is traversed to be opened when the drain lever is operated by a cable (8) and, closes again in a way that seals perfectly because said gate (1) has around a package (1b) to prevent leakage between the water contained in the cup and the drain, additionally the gate (1) has at one of its ends a level regulator (6) which is a movable part that regulates the level of the water contained in the cup as required by the user, and a common fastener (1a) for its joint action with the plunger (11). ). This gate (1) is located in a conduit which has at least two protuberances (2) that allow the sliding of said gate (1) positioning it and making the sealing perpendicular to another oblique conduit (3), which has a curve towards the drainage and allows the drainage of waste due to its disposition allowing thus the direct discharge and due to the force of gravity, towards the drainage; the action of sliding and securing the gate (1) is complemented with a flexible fastener (4) having at its ends wheels (4 ') whose function is, in addition to holding, pushing said gate (1) by pressure towards said protuberances (2), said fastener (4) is fixed by a clamping means (5), which also holds a tensioning element (7) which is attached at its other end to the gate (1) and a plunger (11) in this way allowing the return movement of both posterior to the flushing of the toilet, said action is performed with a lever that has a cable attached (8), which at the time of actuation said lever pulls and allows the sliding of the gate (1) for flushing the toilet and, simultaneously, pulling the plunger (11); said plunger is inserted in a tube (10) and in this way fill it with water; said tube (10) having two openings at one of its ends; an opening of smaller diameter with a valve (14), which contains a small pellet that allows the water to flow out slowly when the plunger (11) is pressed, said valve (14) connects with a hose (13) that directs said water towards the oblique duct (3); the other opening of greater diameter with an uniflujo valve (12) which is attached to a conduit (9) that it allows to take water from the water supply to said tube (10) and fill it for the next discharge.
After flushing, the toilet fills up as normally used toilet bowls do. In this way the water consumption is considered in the range of one liter to one and a half liters per discharge of both solids and liquids.
BEST METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The following is presented as an additional guide for the person skilled in the art, the best method for carrying out this invention and in no case should be considered as a limitation of the invention.
The gate (1) should preferably be of a rigid material particularly acrylic, stainless steel or ceramic material, with a packing (1b) around rubber preferably for perfect sealing. This piece is in a "U" shape with a narrower part in the curve where it seals and joins with the oblique duct (3). This in order to seal perfectly when sliding towards the closure.
The aforementioned gate has an elongated notch in the opposite part to the closure, which is where in turn the level regulator (6) slides, this regulator should preferably be of rubber, and allows to manually determine according to the user's taste the level of water, to raise or lower it due to consumption needs.
The flexible fastener (4) is preferably made of an elastic material, so as to allow the gate (1) to be pressed towards the protuberances (2), having at both ends wheels (4 ') made of plastic material for the correct sliding of the gate ( 1), in such a way that they do not slip into the action of said gate (1).
The tensioning element (7) is preferably a metal spring, particularly made of stainless steel, to press the gate towards the vent pipe and at the same time to press the plunger (11) at the time of unloading.
To operate the unloading mechanism is a cable (8), which is allowed to be made of a material such as steel and plastic, tied to the lever whose function is to pull the gate (1) and plunger (11) simultaneously by means of the common fastener (la). This cable (8) is synchronized with the drain lever of the toilet, in such a way that the opening of the gate coincides with the discharge of water from the tank or supply.
For the purpose of both delaying the sealing of the gate (1) and washing the section of the oblique conduit (3) where it seals the gate (1), the tube (10) is integrated into the present invention with a piston inside it (11). ). Both the tube (10) and the plunger (11) are preferably made of plastic material, said tube has two openings at one of its ends; in the water inlet duct, which is the one with the largest diameter, has a uniform check valve (12), whose function is to allow the passage of water in only one direction (towards the inside of the cylinder) but prevent the lower the plunger (11) out the water by the same; In the outlet duct, which is the smaller diameter, has a valve (14) consisting of a small plastic pellet inside a barrel or section of larger diameter tube of the same material in order to allow water to escape from slower way and consequently facilitate the correct eviction of waste; to which a hose (13) is connected, thus allowing the water to exit when the plunger (11) is pressed, but preventing the entry of both water and air at the moment of actuating the plunger and filling the cylinder (10).
