Abstract
Un dispositivo y método de comunicación proporcionan una forma para que múltiples estaciones base de transmisión que comparten una misma ID de célula transmitan una señal predeterminada a un equipo de usuario que permite que el equipo de usuario se comunique subsiguientemente con el subconjunto más efectivo de dichas múltiples estaciones base de transmisión para ese equipo de usuario particular. El equipo de usuario recibe la señal predeterminada a partir de todas las estaciones base, y posteriormente proporciona retroalimentación referente a la calidad de la recepción de la señal. Con base en la retroalimentación, se crea un formato de mensaje que informa al equipo de usuario cuáles estaciones base están incluidas en un subconjunto de estaciones base que se utilizarán para comunicarse con el equipo de usuario.
