Abstract
Un decodificador de audio para decodificar una señal de audio codificada (10), donde la señal de audio codificada (10) comprende un primer elemento de canal (52a) y un segundo elemento de canal (52b) en una sección de carga útil (52) de un flujo de datos y primeros datos de configuración del decodificador (50c) correspondientes al primer elemento de canal (52a) y segundos datos de configuración del decodificador (50d) correspondientes al segundo elemento de canal (52b) en una sección de configuración (50) del flujo de datos, comprende: un lector de flujos de datos (12) para leer los datos de configuración correspondientes a cada elemento de canal en la sección de configuración y para leer los datos de carga útil correspondientes a cada elemento de canal en la sección de carga útil; un decodificador configurable (16) para decodificar la pluralidad de elementos de canales; y un controlador de configuración (14) para configurar el decodificador configurable (16) de manera que el decodificador configurable (16) está configurado de acuerdo con los primeros datos de configuración del decodificador al decodificar el primer elemento de canal y de acuerdo con los segundos datos de configuración del decodificador al decodificar el segundo elemento de canal.
