Abstract

La invención se refiere a los sistemas, métodos y aparato para la conversión de diversos tipos de energía en energía térmica que puede almacenarse y/o luego convertirse en energía eléctrica. La energía eléctrica puede estar disponible a solicitud y/o cuando un usuario requiera la energía (p. ej., con el nivel y/o tipo de energía). Por ejemplo, la energía puede hacerse disponible con un voltaje específico y como energía de corriente directa (CD) o energía de corriente alterna (CA). La energía eléctrica puede ser fácilmente transportada y por tanto ponerla a la disposición en el lugar deseado de un usuario. Por ejemplo, los sistemas, métodos y/o dispositivos pueden eliminar o reducir la necesidad de transmisión de electricidad, al menos para algunas aplicaciones.
