Abstract
La invención se refiere a los sistemas, métodos y aparato para la conversión de diversos tipos de energía en energía térmica que puede almacenarse y/o luego convertirse en energía eléctrica. La energía eléctrica puede estar disponible a solicitud y/o cuando un usuario requiera la energía (p. ej., con el nivel y/o tipo de energía). Por ejemplo, la energía puede hacerse disponible con un voltaje específico y como energía de corriente directa (CD) o energía de corriente alterna (CA). La energía eléctrica puede ser fácilmente transportada y por tanto ponerla a la disposición en el lugar deseado de un usuario. Por ejemplo, los sistemas, métodos y/o dispositivos pueden eliminar o reducir la necesidad de transmisión de electricidad, al menos para algunas aplicaciones. En las modalidades ejemplares, el sistema puede incluir un material orgánico que cambie de fase para almacenar la energía térmica.
