Abstract

La presente invención describe un proceso para la síntesis de un agente de yodatación, siendo el agente de yodatación cloruro de yodo (IC1). En particular, la presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la preparación electroquímica de IC1, como un agente de yodatación útil en la preparación de compuestos orgánicos yodatados para usar como agentes de contraste o sus precursores en la síntesis de los mismos.
