Abstract
Se describe un colimador entretejido de múltiples aberturas para las aplicaciones de imagenología por radiación tridimensional. El colimador comprende un cuerpo de colimador que incluye una pluralidad de aberturas ubicadas en una rejilla bidimensional. El cuerpo de colimador se configura para absorber y colimar los haces de radiación emitidos desde una fuente de radiación dentro de un campo visual del colimador. El cuerpo de colimador tiene un plano superficial ubicado lo más cerca posible a la fuente de radiación. La rejilla bidimensional se divide selectivamente en por lo menos un primer y segundo grupos de aberturas, que respectivamente definen por lo menos una primera vista y una segunda vista de un objeto que será visualizado. El primer grupo de aberturas es formado entrelazando o alternando las filas de la rejilla, y el segundo grupo de aberturas es formado por las filas de aberturas adyacentes a las filas del primer grupo Cada abertura en el primer grupo se coloca en un primer ángulo de orientación con respecto al plano superficial del cuerpo de colimador, y cada abertura en el segundo grupo se coloca en un segundo ángulo de orientación con respecto al plano superficial del cuerpo de colimador tal que las aberturas del primer grupo estén entretejidas con las aberturas del segundo grupo.
