Abstract

Un método mejorado para fabricar tubo e intercambiadores de calor el cual, de acuerdo con una modalidad preferida incluye un proceso para incrementar la resistencia y rigidez de aletas de intercambiador de calor. Las aletas rígidas tienen una mayor tendencia para mantener la propia alineación dentro de un ensamble de aletas, que ayuda para ensartar grandes pilas de aletas con tubería de diámetro pequeño. Preferiblemente, la resistencia de las aletas es aumentada por formación de una pluralidad de vigas longitudinales dentro de la aleta durante el proceso de estampado de aleta. Más preferiblemente aún, las dos vigas para cada fila de huecos con collarín son proporcionadas.
