Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for synchronizing a first control device (2) and a second control device (5) of a redundantly structured automation device (1) for controlling a technical process. The first control device (2) and the second control device (5) are connected with each other. They each comprise a plurality of functional components (FB1, FB2, FB3, FB1', FB2', FB3'), by means of which functions for controlling the technical process are implemented. The first control device (2) performs the functional components (FB1, FB2, FB3) for controlling the technical process in cycles, thus creating internal states of the functional components (FB1, FB2, FB3). During control of the technical process by the first control device (2), information about the internal states of the functional components (FB1, FB2, FB3) is transferred distributed over several cycles to the second control device (5). The second control device (5) assigns the transmitted information about the internal states to the functional components (FB1', FB2', FB3'). The present invention further relates to a corresponding redundantly structured automation device (1).
