Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método en una cámara para determinar un ajuste de cámara cuando se utiliza un flash pulsado. La cámara comprende una fuente de luz. La fuente de luz es adaptada para emitir luz para iluminar un objeto. El objeto es iluminado adicionalmente por la luz ambiente. El método comprende los pasos de: capturar un dato de primera imagen del objeto cuando el objeto es iluminado por la luz emitida por la fuente de luz y por la luz ambiente, capturar un dato de segunda imagen del mismo objeto cuando el objeto es iluminado por la luz ambiente pero no por la luz de la fuente de luz, crear un dato de imagen de diferencia restando el dato de segunda imagen del dato de primera imagen. El método comprende el paso adicional de determinar un ajuste de cámara con base en el dato de imagen de diferencia creado. El ajuste de cámara determinado se utiliza cuando se captura una tercera imagen del objeto utilizando el flash pulsado por la fuente de luz para iluminar el objeto.
