Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un sistema y metodo para proporcionar la identificacion de FGS mejorada en la codificacion de video escalable. De acuerdo con la presente invencion, cada capa de mejora de FGS es asignada con un identificador unico de la dependencia y contiene solamente la informacion de la mejora de FGS. Para las capas de mejora subsiguientes, el identificador de la dependencia de la base apuntara ya sea a una capa de la calidad de la base o a una capa de mejora de FGS. Alternativamente, dos identificadores de la dependencia de la base pueden ser utilizados. Un identificador es utilizado para identificar la capa de calidad de la base, que no contiene la informacion de FGS, que es utilizada para la prediccion del modo de codificacion y la informacion del movimiento para una capa de mejora subsiguiente. El otro identificador es utilizado para identificar la capa de la mejora de FGS, que contiene solamente la informacion de FGS, que es utilizada para la prediccion de la muestra y/o los datos residuales para una capa de mejora subsiguiente.
