Abstract
Una planta transgenica transformada por un acido nucleico que codifica un polipeptido de transito vesicular relacionado con estres (VTSRP), en donde la expresion de la secuencia de acidos nucleicos en al planta da por resultado el aumento de crecimiento de la planta y/o aumento de la tolerancia a estres ambiental, comparado con una variedad de tipo salvaje de la planta. Tambien se proveen productos agricolas tales como semillas, producidos por las plantas transgenicas. Tambien se proveen VTSRP aislados y acidos nucleicos codificadores de VTSRP, y vectores y celulas huesped que contienen este ultimo.
