Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a empaque de papel dimensionado para empacar artículos flexibles comprimidos en forma compacta, que comprende un panel frontal y un panel posterior conectados por medio de un par de paneles laterales, un panel inferior y un panel superior; un dispositivo abridor que comprende un par de líneas verticales debilitadas, localizadas dentro de uno de los paneles laterales del paquete de papel, las líneas verticales debilitadas definen una porción predeterminada del panel lateral para ser al menos parcialmente separadas del resto del panel lateral sin liberar la tensión en el resto del panel lateral, la porción predeterminada del panel lateral es parcialmente separada aplicando una fuerza de ruptura a una tapa desprendible que se extiende desde el extremo más inferior del dispositivo abridor, con lo cual los artículos flexibles coincidentes con la abertura así formada en el panel lateral se expanden a través de la abertura en un arreglo similar a un abanico, mientras que las porciones tensionadas remanentes del panel lateral se mantienen en una condición substancialmente comprimida y un lámina de refuerzo interna que comprende material reciclable y/o biodegradable localizada en la superficie más interna del dispositivo abridor y la tapa desprendible y extendiéndose al menos sobre el área entera del dispositivo abridor y más allá de las líneas verticales debilitadas, la lámina de refuerzo tiene una ranura horizontal que se extiende continuamente entre las líneas verticales debilitadas y substancialmente coincidentes con el extremo más inferior del dispositivo abridor y el extremo más superior de la tapa.
