Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de suministro de aire para motor de combustión interna, caracterizado porque comprende: un primer pasadizo de admisión de aire a través del cual el aire puede fluir hacia el motor; primeros medios de control operables para variar el flujo de aire a través del pasadizo primario; un mecanismo accionado por el conducto acoplado operativamente a los medios de control primarios para variar el flujo de aire a través del pasadizo primario hacia el motor en respuesta a la demanda del conductor; un segundo pasadizo de admisión de aire a través del cual puede fluir hacia el motor; segundos medios de control operables para variar el flujo de aire a través del pasadizo, secundario hacia el motor; y unos medios accionadores, operables en respuesta a condiciones de operación de motor percibidas, para operar los segundos medios de control para variar el flujo de aire a través del segundo pasadizo hacia el motor; los primeros medios de control y los segundos medios de control son operables independientemente, de modo que el aire suministrado al motor puede ser solamente a través de uno de los primero o segundo pasadizos o simultáneamente a través de ambos.
